"Empecé con este proyecto porque sentía la necesidad de expresar muchísimas emociones y sentimientos que tenía desde hacía tiempo relacionados con el género. Desde siempre me ha gustado la fotografía y ahora que tengo un mensaje a transmitir lo estoy aprovechando al máximo"

I started with this project because I felt the need to express many emotions and feelings that I had had for a long time related to gender. I have always liked photography and now that I have a message to transmit, I am taking full advantage of it.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO EXPLAIN YOUR PROJECT?

"Mi proyecto consiste en hacer fotografía feminista en la que denuncio ciertos comportamientos y reinvindico el papel de la mujer en la sociedad"

My project is to do feminist photography in which I denounce certain behaviors and reinvindicate the role of women in society.

WICH CHANNELS OF BROADCASTING HAVE YOU USED?

"De momento, sólo instagram, pero tengo pensado crear una página web y hacer algunas exposiciones."

At the moment, only instagram, but I plan to create a web page and do some exhibitions.

WHAT DOES PHOTOGRAPHY MEAN TO YOU? DO YOU THINK SHOULD BE ITS PURPOSE?

"Para mí, la fotografía es como cualquier otro arte: consiste en transmitir, en hacer llegar algo al receptor. Para mí, el objetivo con el arte debería ser transmitir un mensaje, ya sea una reivindicación o una denuncia. En mis fotos reivindico la libertad de la mujer y denuncio la situación que, por desgracia, le ha tocado vivir."

For me, photography is like any other art: it consists in transmitting, in getting something to the receiver. For me, the goal with art should be to convey a message, be it a claim or a complaint. In my photos I claim the freedom of the woman and denounce the situation that, unfortunately, she has had to live.

Mi intención es llegar a la gente y que sea consciente de la enorme situación de injusticia en la que estamos las mujeres.

My intention is to reach people and be aware of the enormous situation of injustice in which we are women.

DO YOU THINK THERE ARE TABOOS REFERRING TO FEMALE REALITIES IN OCCIDENTAL SOCIETY? WHY?

"Por supuesto, y no sólo en la sociedad occidental. Por desgracia, el papel de la mujer tiene que cambiar mucho para encontrarse en una situación de igualdad y justicia. Justamente tengo una serie en mente llamada: "Rompiendo tabús", en la que quiero tratar temas como la masturbación femenina, la depilación, la menstruación, la lactancia materna... De hecho, empecé con esta serie hace poco y ya me han borrado un par de fotos, cosa que demuestra que hay un tabú enorme."

Of course, and not only in Western society. Unfortunately, the role of women has to change a lot to be in a situation of equality and justice. I just have a series in mind called: "Breaking Taboos", in which I want to discuss topics such as female masturbation, hair removal, menstruation, breastfeeding ... In fact, I started with this series recently and I have already been erased a couple of photos, which shows that there is a huge taboo.

"El público, por el momento, está respondiendo muy bien. Espero que siga así."

The public, for the moment, is responding very well. I hope it continues like this.
